Apple leaker Jon Prosser (@) has shared some new information regarding new AirPods and a new MacBook Pro, which should be arriving next month.
Prosser said that the upcoming AirPods were originally scheduled for announcement at the rumoured Apple March Event. Despite no official announcement from Apple regarding this event, it was rumoured by multiple leakers that Apple had cancelled the event due to COVID-19.
At the moment, it is unknown what will be different about the new model of AirPods, or if it will be similar in design to the rumoured AirPods X, which are rumoured to have a wire connecting between both earbuds. Prosser has not yet elaborated on which model of AirPods these are.
As for the MacBook Pro, this would appear to be the upgraded MacBook Pro 13” that has been rumoured for quite some time now. The new model will undoubtedly get the new scissor switch Magic Keyboard from the 16” MacBook Pro, new processors, new chips, and more. However, there are conflicting rumours suggesting that this upcoming model may have a 14” display, instead of the regular 13” display.
Prosser didn’t give any other details regarding the release schedule other than that both products arriving next month, with the new AirPods arriving first and the MacBook Pro arriving alongside.
