Highly reliable leaker DuanRui shared images on Twitter showing manufactured cases for the upcoming iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro.
The leaked cases have been placed on their iPhone 12 counterpart to show the differences between the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 13.
In some of the images (above) leaked by DuanRui, a navy iPhone 13 case has been put on an iPhone 12. The most noticeable thing about the iPhone 13 case on the iPhone 12 is how much bigger the cameras are getting this year. Additionally, the leaked cases confirm the diagonal arrangement of the rear cameras for the iPhone 13 and 13 mini.
The leaker measured the camera lens gaps in the case, revealing that the diameter of each of the iPhone 13 rear camera lenses is around 15.32mm, which is close to 2mm bigger than the iPhone 12/12 mini’s camera diameter of around 13.83mm. The overall camera housing size is increasing as a result of this.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is getting a significantly bigger camera module this year. Each of the three lenses is greatly increasing in size. This is especially visible when a case for the iPhone 13 Pro is placed upon an iPhone 12 Pro.
Another interesting thing to note about the leaked images is that the volume buttons and silent switch are being lowered slightly. The leaked image below shows an iPhone 12 in an iPhone 13 case, where the Volume Up button is spilling into the gap for the silent switch.
The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro models are reportedly on schedule for release this September, but there is still much speculation about what new features we can expect for this iPhone. As we get closer to launch, more features and details are likely to leak.
