MajinBuOfficial, a reliable leaker on Twitter, shared images today sent to him by his source showing a new Apple Watch Series 7 band in production. Additionally, the leaked band corroborates reports that the size of the Apple Watch will be increasing.
In the leaked images shared by Majin, there is an Apple Watch Series 7 Braided Solo Loop band in Atlantic Blue colour being manufactured. Although the Braided Solo Loop doesn’t any different to the current models for the Apple Watch Series 6, the main difference is the Apple Watch size label printed on the inside of the stainless steel clasp.
Recent reports have suggested that Apple will be increasing the size of the Apple Watch Series 7 from 40mm and 44mm to 41mm and 45mm, respectively. The band in the leaked images is for an Apple Watch Series 7 with a 41mm face, corroborating the recent leaks and reports.
Although the size of the Apple Watch is increasing, reports suggest that any Apple Watch band from any previous generation will work with the bigger Apple Watch Series 7. This is similar to when the Apple Watch Series 4 came out and the Apple Watch size increase from 38mm and 42mm to 40mm and 44mm, respectively, how band that were made for 38mm and 42mm still worked on the new sizes.
Apple is expected to officially announced the Apple Watch Series 7 in early September, with some reports suggesting that it will officially go on sale on September 24th.
