Today, Apple made some slight changes to its 2018 MacBook Air which launched in November of last year. However, they silently also updated their entry-level 13” MacBook Pro.
The new entry-level 13” MacBook Pro starts at $1,299, the previous price of the 2018 MacBook Air, for regular customers. If you are a student, you will be able to get the new MacBook Pro for $1,199, which is $100 less than the regular price. In the refresh for this computer, Apple added 8th generation Intel Quad-Core processors and adds, for the first time in the 13” MacBook Pro entry-model, the Touch Bar and Touch ID. It also features the highly-secure T2 chip.
Similar to the 2018 MacBook Air refresh that occurred today, this entry-level model of the MacBook Pro now features True Tone, the technology that changes the colour of your screen based on your surroundings.
I’m glad Apple updated this model of the MacBook Pro as up until today, they were still selling the 2017 version of this model!
