LeaksApplePro () has released details about the four new 2021 iPhone models coming next year, including pricing, display specs, extra Pro features, and more.
LeaksApplePro says that there will be four models again this year, ranging from a 5.4” mini size to the biggest 6.7” Max size. He also released the expected pricing for these models:
MODEL | CODE NUMBER | DISPLAY SIZE | STARTING PRICE |
iPhone 13 mini | D62G | 5.4” | $699 |
iPhone 13 | D63G | 6.1” | $799 |
iPhone 13 Pro | D63P | 6.1” | $999 |
iPhone 13 Pro Max | D64P | 6.7” | $1,099 |
Additionally, he confirms that the iPhone 13 Pro models will be completely portless. This likely means that Apple will encourage users to use MagSafe or other forms of wireless charging in order to charge their phones.
LeaksApplePro expects a 120Hz display to come with the 2021 iPhones. It was heavily rumoured earlier this year that the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max would feature a 120Hz ProMotion display, but was reportedly delayed to the 2021 iPhone models due to both 5G and the 120Hz display heavily affecting battery life during Apple’s testing of both devices.
He also says that the rumoured 8K rear cameras on the iPhone 13 have been delayed. As for the notch housing the Face ID sensors and front-facing camera, LeaksApplePro says that the notch will be getting slightly smaller, but it won’t be going away completely.
As of now, that is everything LeaksApplePro shared online. Of course, it’s still very early days for the iPhone 13 and plans for these phones are likely to change a lot between now and next year, so it’s best if you take every leak with a grain of salt for now.
