Leaker releases iPhone 12, Apple Watch Series 6, iPad, and Apple TV Names and Family Numbers

Reliable Apple leaker Fudge ( on Twitter) has released the names and family numbers for the upcoming iPhone 12, Apple Watch Series 6, iPad, and new Apple TV 4K.

Starting off with the iPhone 12, Fudge confirms that the names for the four new iPhone models will be:

• iPhone 12 (iPhone13,1), 
• iPhone 12 Max (iPhone13,2), 
• iPhone 12 Pro (iPhone13,3), 
• and iPhone 12 Pro Max (iPhone 13,4). 

The iPhone 12 will have a 5.4” display, both the iPhone 12 Max and the iPhone 12 Pro will have a 6.4” display, with the largest model being the iPhone 12 Pro Max featuring at 6.7” display.

As for the Apple Watch Series 6, it would seem that there are going to be two models again this year with two configurations – a 40mm Apple Watch with either GPS or Cellular and a 44mm with either GPS or Cellular.

The naming for these models is pretty standard, with all new Apple Watch models being named “Apple Watch Series 6”. The family numbers for the four new models of Apple Watch Series 6 are:

• Watch6,1,
• Watch6,2
• Watch6,3, 
• and Watch6,4. 

Fudge also shared the family number for the rumoured Apple TV 4K, which very little is actually known about. According to the leak, the family number for this model will be AppleTV6,3.

Alongside the iPhone 12, Apple Watch Series 6, and Apple TV 4K, Fudge also released the family numbers for the upcoming 2020 iPads, which include:

• iPad3,1 (WiFi)
• iPad3,2 (Cellular)
• iPad13,4 (WiFi)
• iPad13,5 (WiFi)
• iPad13,6 (Cellular)
• iPad13,7 (Cellular)
• iPad13,8 (WiFi)
• iPad13,9 (WiFi)
• iPad13,10 (Cellular)
• iPad13,11 (Cellular)

The names for these models are known, but it could very well be a new iPad Air, iPad mini, or iPad Pro. Interestingly enough, Fudge points out that iPad3,1 and iPad3,2 are “designated” differently from all the other models. It’s unknown what is meant by that, but it likely means that they are in some way different to all the other models.

All these models are expected to be launched throughout the rest of 2020, with all iPhone, Apple TV, and Apple Watch models expected in September/October, and the iPads are likely to be spread out across the year.
