According to reliable Apple leaker, Fudge (@), Apple may be bringing the rumoured sleep-tracking feature, ‘Sleep Mode’, to the iPhone with iOS 14.

‘Sleep Mode’ is a sleep-tracking feature that was recently leaked to be arriving to the Apple Watch with watchOS 7, although there was no mention of it arriving to the iPhone until now. Fudge shared some new dialogue found in iOS which mentions Sleep Mode working with the iPhone.

The first piece of dialogue shared says that:

This is similar to the leaked Apple Watch dialogue from the beginning of this month, which said: “To help you get a good night sleep, Apple Watch will use your sleep schedule to turn on Do Not Disturb and lock and dim the display.”

Alongside this, Fudge shared more about how scheduling your wake up times and how the alarms will work:

This would make it seem that Sleep Mode enabled on iPhone will still work with your Apple Watch, but you can only be woken up by your Apple Watch and not your iPhone.

Fudge is still sharing information about this on Twitter, so if there are any updates, this article will be updated.

‘Sleep Mode’ is one of many new features expected to be announced at WWDC20 next week. Alongside watchOS 7, Apple is expected to unveil iOS 14, iPadOS 14, tvOS 14, and macOS 10.16.
