A new leaker on Twitter @ has says that he has some new information regarding the iPhone 12, including that Apple will be launching a 4G version of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max in order tooter cheaper models for consumers.

The leaker, who only set up the account today, says that the purpose of these two iPhone models will be to offer a cheaper iPhone 12 model to customers. He says that Apple will release an ‘iPhone 12 4G’ and ‘iPhone 12 Max 4G’ for $549 and $649, respectively.

Confusingly, the leaker also says that Apple Leaker Jon Prosser’s price predictions for the 5G are correct. Jon Prosser says that the prices for the iPhone 12 and 12 Max 5G will be $649 and $749 respectively. In my own opinion, I really don’t understand why Apple would bring out two 4G models, with the higher end 4G model being the same price as the base 5G model. To me, that just makes no sense at all.

The leaker also says that the inspiration for this pricing comes from the pricing strategy for the iPhone 11 and 2nd Generation iPhone SE.

That’s all this leaker had to say, and if I were you, I would take it with a huge grain of salt. This leaker is brand new, and we have no idea about his track record. Of course, there is chance it might be correct, but it just seems a bit far fetched at the moment.
