Reliable Apple Leakers and shared pictures on Twitter today showing the display panels for the upcoming iPhone 12 models.
In a now deleted tweet, claimed that the display panel is the OLED panel that will be used in the 5.4” iPhone 12, which is expected to be the cheapest iPhone offered by Apple this year. Following the deletion of the tweet, uploaded a second image without any reflections on the display and simply stated that the notch size is not changing.
In addition to the images shared by , leaker Giulio Zompetti () also shared similar pictures of the OLED display panel that will be used for the iPhone 12 Pro, which is expected to be 6.1” in size. This image from Giulio Zompetti shows the same notch dimensions as previous iPhones. Considering this is a higher-end model, it could be possible that Apple are not changing the size of the notch this year.
Unfortunately, those are the only images these leakers shared today. As we get closer to the rumoured October announcement, we could certainly begin to expect more and more leaks such as these ones.
Apple is expected to announce 4 iPhone models this year – 5.4” iPhone 12, 6.1” iPhone 12 Max, 6.1” iPhone 12 Pro Max, and lastly, the 6.7” iPhone 12 Pro Max. The prices of these iPhone has been suggested by leakers to range from $649 for the 5.4” iPhone 12 to $1499 for the high-end iPhone 12 Pro Max with maximum configurations.
