Jon Prosser, a reliable Apple leaker, has shared a tweet today suggesting that Apple will be unveiling the iPhone 12 and new iPads in October.
Prosser disappeared for a while until this week, where he has come back with some information regarding the Pixel 4a, and now he has information about Apple. He says that Apple will be unveiling the iPhone 12 and new iPads in October. This could mean that Apple are intending on holding an event in October this year, which has been previously rumoured.
It was suggested by several leakers that Apple have been looking at September, October, and even November for the potential annual Special Event and the launch of their newest iPhones. According to Prosser, it could definitely mean that Apple has decided on a date.
This year, we are expecting four new iPhone models from Apple – iPhone 12 (5.4”), iPhone 12 Max (6.1”), iPhone 12 Pro (6.1”), and iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7”). In addition to these iPhones, Prosser says that we can be expecting to see new iPads in October, which could be the new 12.9” mini-LED iPad Pro, iPad mini 6, and iPad 8th Generation.
However, there are several leakers who are still suggesting that Apple will be holding an event in early September. Unfortunately, only time will tell who is correct.
