Video shows Widgets on pre-release iOS 14 beta build.

Twitter User ConceptsiPhone (@) has shared a video he received which shows the new, redesigned widgets home screen UI that is being rumoured to be arriving in iOS 14.

ConceptsiPhone says that he was sent the video from an anonymous source, and only attached “iOS14 Beta iPSW” alongside the video. As of now, there is no evidence to suggest that this video is actually iOS 14.

The video shows the potential widgets-filled Home Screen UI redesign that has been rumoured for iOS 14 for quite some time. The video is a screen recording of iOS 14, and the user is swiping between different pages with different widgets from apps such as Calendar, Home, Weather, FaceBook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Apple News, and the App Store.

The widgets appear to re-arrange the apps, and can be switched to different sizes. For example, the Apple News widget takes up the top two rows of apps, however, the Calendar widget only takes up 4 apps from the left hand side of the iPhone.

As of yet, there is no evidence to confirm if this video is real, but as with all leaks, you should take this one with a grain of salt. Nothing is official until Apple officially announce something.

iOS 14 is scheduled to be officially announced by Apple at WWDC 2020 this Summer, which will be taking a whole-new online format due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.
